Benidorm, One of the most cosmopolitan cities located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, it belongs to the province of Alicante and is one of the most important and well-known tourist destinations in Spain and the entire Mediterranean, thanks to its beaches and nightlife.
Known as the "New York of the Mediterranean," Benidorm is the city with the most skyscrapers in Spain, and the city with the most skyscrapers per square meter in the world after New York.
The beautiful curve of its two beaches, creating a bay with graceful profiles, faces south, where the silhouette of Benidorm Island appears, breaking the monotony of a generally calm sea, with a beautiful, clear blue color.
Along the other cardinal points, it is protected by several mountain ranges. Its particular geographical configuration means that these surrounding mountains protect it from the action of winds that could alter its pleasant climate. Therefore, the microclimate that is enjoyed, especially in spring, winter and autumn, is extremely mild, with temperatures noticeably higher than the rest of the coast and with sea water within limits that allow swimming at all times.
This privileged location has given it a special microclimate, making temperatures in Benidorm particularly pleasant throughout the year. Despite the low rainfall, it also boasts one of the highest percentages of sunny days in all of Spain.
Benidorm offers visitors a charming symphony of spectacular color, a healthy atmosphere, and temperatures that rival the most pleasant on the planet.
