Murat ErdemselBorn in Istanbul with Italian and Croatian roots, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts, following the artistic tradition of his parents. His interest in Argentine tango began in 1998, when he saw it danced at a local milonga and was fascinated by the harmony of the dance. After graduating in fresco, he continued his training in Fine Arts in Washington, DC, and began teaching tango in his studio.

Throughout his career, Murat established himself as a tango instructor in New York and Washington, DC, organizing milongas and giving classes. He taught at prestigious universities such as Harvard, Princeton, and UCLA, and was on the faculty at Dance Manhattan Studios. He also participated in international festivals and workshops, both in the U.S. and in Europe and Australia.

During his career, Murat married Michelle, with whom he taught and performed for 10 years, before forming a couple with Sigrid for 5 years.

His life eventually led him to settle in Europe, in Switzerland, where he met Silvina Tse, whom he considers the most ideal and talented partner he has ever had.


Silvina Tse, Born in Bologna to Italian and Chinese parents, she began dancing at age 6 and has extensive experience in rhythmic gymnastics, figure skating, hip hop, ballet, and modern dance. Her passion for Argentine tango was sparked in 2009 after seeing a couple dancing in the street, which led her to dedicate herself completely to dance, despite having graduated in civil engineering.

She specializes in teaching tango with a focus on clean technique and developing a personal style. She has taught classes in Italy and several European countries, and since 2019, she has been invited to teach in places such as Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, France, and others.

In 2021, she began a collaboration with Murat, allowing them to teach and perform together in various countries. Her dance is characterized by elegant technique, refined musicality, and the creativity of improvisation.

Javier Sánchez& Gina Medina

Gina Medina, Colombian dancer, choreographer, and producer with over 20 years of experience, recognized as one of her country's most prominent artists. She was awarded Best Solo Dancer by the Solodanza Festival.

She is the director and founder of the academy and show producer Alma de Tango in Bogotá, Colombia.
She began her studies at the School of Fine Arts, training in a variety of techniques: classical ballet, jazz dance, contemporary dance, national and international folklore, and ballroom dancing.
She completed her training at prestigious institutions such as the Cuban National Ballet, the Argentine Tango School, the Julio Bocca Musical Theater School, the Alfredo Gurquel Dance Studio in Buenos Aires, the Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in New York, as well as Opens Door Studios in North Carolina (USA).


Javier Sánchez, Argentine tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer with over 22 years of experience in companies, shows, cultural organizations, and as a professional couples trainer.

He has been champion and runner-up in the categories of Ballroom Tango, Stage Tango and Choreographic Groups in different national competitions (2005, 2006, 2008, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019).
On the international level, he was a finalist in the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires (2008) in the categories of Salon Tango and Stage Tango, in addition to obtaining third place in the World Tango Competition in Japan (2006) in both categories.

As a choreographer, he has trained couples and companies that later became champions and runners-up in national and international competitions.

Daniel Martinez & Laura Vargas

Laura and Daniel are two of the most representative figures of tango in Colombia. With individual careers spanning more than two decades dedicated to art, dance, and teaching, they have joined forces since 2022 to consolidate an artistic project that combines talent, experience, and a passion for tango.


Daniel Martinez, Born in Medellín in 1980, he is a dancer, teacher, choreographer and Tango DJ. Director of Tango Studio & Company and organizer of the traditional milonga Pura Estampa in Bogotá since 2006, has more than 30 years of experience in dance, 25 of them dedicated to tango, milonga and waltz.

He has represented Colombia on stages in Argentina, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, the United States, Ecuador, and Venezuela, participating in festivals, marathons, and championships as a contestant and judge. He was a World Stage Tango Champion at the 2005 Open Japan Championship, and has also been a thirteen-time National Champion in various categories and a four-time finalist at the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires.


Laura Vargas, with 25 years of experience, was also champion of the World Open Japan Championship, in 2007 she won the title in the Stage Tango category in Tokyo, Japan.

Her career includes international tours throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America, as well as a stay in Dubai as a dancer for the Jumeirah hotel chain and a residency in Buenos Aires between 2014 and 2017, where she joined companies and worked on prestigious teaching staffs. In Medellín, she has developed her own projects such as the milonga Elite Tanguera and her tango and dance fashion brand, Diosas.


Since their artistic union, Laura and Daniel have created spaces that enrich the tango culture in Medellín: group classes in the emblematic Malaga Hall, the consolidation of Elite Tanguera as one of the traditional milongas of the city and the opening of Obsession Dance Studio, a comprehensive training school. They have also recently achieved competitive success on national stages, standing out at festivals in Medellín and Manizales, where they have earned titles in tango, milonga, and dance floor waltz.

In 2025, they were invited to major international festivals in Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and Germany, as well as to various milongas and workshops in Italy and France, bringing the power, elegance, and sensitivity of Colombian tango to the world.
